Which Role is Right for You?

Metro DEEP offers two opportunities for board members based on the ability and capacity of members of our community interested in helping Metro DEEP accomplish our mission, vision and goals. Below is an outline of the difference between our two boards and insight into our current Board and Committee Structure.

Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors is responsible for shaping the strategic direction of our organization and ensuring its financial sustainability. Directors provide governance, oversee key policies, and guide our long-term vision.

Advisory Board

Our Advisory Board plays a critical role in providing subject matter expertise and resources that drive economic mobility and success for the African-descended community. Advisory Board members advise on important decisions that directly impact our community.
